Winter Family Meal

19:11

We love weekends! Specially because there is no school or work, which means we can relax and watch a movie and enjoy a beautiful homemade meal. Without the pressure and the stress that work causes, we are able to enjoy a gorgeous warm meal. My suggestion for this weekend is some goulash with pork ribs. The recipe is pretty simple. This is what you are going to need:

-Pork Ribs
-Chopped Onion
-Olive Oil
-Salt
-Pepper
-Herbs de Provence
-Chestnuts (I used frozen ones)
-Brooccoli
-Carrots
-Tomatoes (I used frozen ones)
-Chouriço
-Pressure Cooker

To accompany this, I also cooked rice with broccoli and carrots but it is totally up to you. The quantity also depends on how many ribs you are going to cook so, having this in mind, you decide the quantity of the other ingredients.

Firstly, on the pressure cooker, put the chopped onions and the olive oil and turn the stove on, letting it fry for a bit. Then add the pork ribs, salt, pepper, herbs de provence and the tomatoes. Let it cook for a while and after that add the chouriço, the chestnuts, the broccoli and the carrots. If you are not using frozen vesgetables then you should add some water.

As the chestnuts cook, they will become softer and some might come apart and, with the juices of the meat, it becomes a thick sauce. Now you just have to close the pressure cooker and let it cook for about 6 minutes.

Enjoy this lovely meal with your friends and family!
