I love to read! As a child I was a bit of a bookworn! However, with the lack of time, I stopped reading as much as I used to. It's a shame, to be honest! There are so many beautiful stories to read, a thousand lifes to live through books and just stopping reading is painful.

So this is a list of my favourite books and books are I really need to read :)

Eu adoro ler! Quando era mais nova eu era um género de bichinho da leitura! No entanto, como passei a ter menos tempo livre, já não leio tanto como dantes. É uma vergonha para ser sincera! Há tantos livros maravilhos, vidas para presenciar através dos livros que, somente parar de ler é doloroso.

Por isso, trago hoje uma lista dos meus livros preferidos e livros que eu quero mesmo muito ler :)

'When God was a Rabbit' by Sarah Winman

           'Quando Deus era um coelho' de Sarah Winman

I don't think that there is this book in Portuguese. I read the english version and it left me ashtonished! The title was kind of odd that's why I chose this book. The story turned out to be beautiful and so innocent! This book is about the life of a little girl who gets a rabbit. And since her parents always told her and taught her about how wonderful God is, she decides to name her rabbit God. With this said, you can only expect the most wonderful story about the adventures of this little girl.

Acho que não existe a versão em português deste livro. Eu li em inglês e a história deixou-me encantada! O título é, sem dúvida, estranho ('Quando Deus era um coelho'), e foi por isso que o escolhi. A história revelou-se uma bonita e inocente narração! Este livro retrata a vida de uma menina que recebe um coelho. Como os pais dela ensinaram-lhe o quão maravilhoso Deus é, ela decide chamar ao seu coelhinho Deus. Tendo dito isto só podemos imaginar a história mais maravilhosa acerca das aventuras desta menina.

'Eleanor & Park' by Rainbow Rowell

           'Eleanor & Park' de Rainbow Rowell

I haven't read this book yet. I have already read some quotes that left me a bit curious so I'm looking forward to read this book as soon as I can. It is described as a really intense love story and they promised that this book will bring back that sensation that you get in your stomach when you recall that first love... We need to read to know then!

Ainda não li este livro. Já li algumas citações que me deixaram um tanto curiosa por isso, assim que puder, vou devorar este livro! Caracterizam-no como sendo uma intensa história de amor e prometem que este livro traz de volta aquela sensação no estomago que sentimos quando nos lembramos do nosso primeiro amor... Temos de ler para saber!

'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' by Stephen Chbosky

           'As Vantagens de Ser Invisível' de Stephen Chbosky

I'm not going to lie. This book is a heartbreaking book. The most interesting part isn't the plot but how Charlie (the main character) deals with his thoughts. The main theme is definitely depression and suicide thoughts. The plot is not as interesting as the movie makes it look but there are a lot of heartbreaking thoughts and entries on Charlie's diary that you cannot acess on the movie. I know this book might not be for everyone... So, I'm gonna leave here some quotes:

“So, I guess we are who we are for alot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.”

Não vou mentir. Este livro é muito emocional. A parte mais interessante não é o enredo mas sim como Charlie (a personagem principal) lida com os seus pensamentos. O tema principal é depressão e pensamentos suicidas. O enredo não é tão interessante como o filme o faz parecer mas há muitos pensamentos e entradas no diário de Charlie dos quais não se tem acesso através do filme. Sei que este livro não agradará a todos mas dá, sem dúvida que pensar... Por isso vou-vos deixar algumas citações:

'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' by Jenny Han

           'A Todos Os Rapazes que Amei' de Jenny Han

I've already mention this book on my previous post and I'm so into this book! Basically it is about a girl named Lara Jean who writes love letters when she wants to stop being in love with someone. The story is so funny and innocent. I have no words to describe how much I love this book!

Já tinha mencionado este livro no meu post anterior e sou tão fan dele! Basicamente, a história anda em volta de Lara Jean, uma rapariga que escreve cartas de amor a rapazes quando já não quer gostar mais deles. A narração é muito engraçada e inocente. Nem tenho palavras para descrever o quanto gosto deste livro!
